- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆Usually I am pretty content with Genesis and have banked with them for many years. The test of a good bank/credit union is when something happens to your account. One day I was called about some unauthorized transactions. Of the 5, 4 were bad. There was no option on the phone when they called to say which was good, which was bad. It was all or nothing, so I had to call the branch. They turned my card off and told me I had to come in for a new one. I said I live kind of far and she said it could be mailed but wouldn't get there for 7-10 days. I said I work during the branch hours and by the time I get there it would be closed. I asked if it could be expedited and she said it would be $80.00!?! Good Lord! If you can make it in an instant at the branch, why charge 80.00? Needless to say if that's how it's going to be, I will be looking for another credit union. Highly irritating...By Jessica Gutierrez, October 04, 2016
